We love Sonlight because it teaches our children to think critically about what they are learning. It challenges them to carefully consider the worldview that the media and many of their friends hold. They are learning that the biblical worldview is supported by science (among other subjects) and they are learning how to defend their faith. Sonlight also breaks us free from the 'school at home' mindset by allowing a more relaxed learning environment and encouraging discussion rather than completing lots of worksheets. Thanks Sonlight! ' I can't imagine embarking on this journey without the day-by-day guidance Sonlight offers. It's also handy if I need to utilize a substitute teacher, like Daddy or Grandma! But it's not just about having our schedule all laid out; it's the content that draws our family into this adventure. I love that Sonlight is Christ-centered, with a genuine heart for the entire world. I appreciate the critical thinking it encourages, and how it helps us navigate deep topics. I'm thankful we have the opportunity to grow and learn together as a family in this special way.'
